TDS Rules for Withdrawals:

• TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) is applied when withdrawing funds.
• TDS only applies to winnings, not deposits.
• A 30% TDS rate is applied to net winnings.

For Players:

• If your net winnings exceed your total deposits for the financial year at the time of withdrawal, a 30% TDS is deducted from the withdrawal amount.
• If your net winnings are less than your total deposit amount during withdrawal, there’s no TDS, unless the withdrawal exceeds your total deposits.

Example 1:

1. Total Deposits: 15,000
2. Total Withdrawals: 7,000

• No TDS for withdrawals up to 8,000.
• 30% TDS on 2,000 for withdrawals over 8,000.
• If TDS was deducted in a prior withdrawal and your net winnings fall below your total deposits, you can withdraw without TDS until your net winnings plus the TDS-paid amount.

Example 2:

1. Total Deposits: 50,000
2. Total Withdrawals: 40,000
3. TDS Paid: 6,000

No TDS for withdrawals up to 30,000.

30% TDS on 20,000 for withdrawals over 30,000.
